Q.
When
should I start my search?
A.
To capitalize on the widest variety of
available properties we recommend beginning your
search about 30 to 45 days before your desired move
date. This timeframe will give you access to
the widest variety of apartments and rentals on the
market and allows sufficient time to provide proper
notice to your current landlord. You will also
have enough time for the approval process that may
be required by some properties, such as home owners
associations or condominium association approvals.
The association approval process can typically be
between one and two weeks, and in some rare cases,
as many as 30 days.
